Was Ravana hero or Villian ? - Part 1

Before, arguing whether he is a Hero or Villain, lets clear up one fact.

Ravana was Father - in - Law of Rama .

Sita was in fact an Asura Princess born to Ravana and Mandodari.

But Ravana's associates saw her as a bad luck to Ravana as soon as she was born, hence decide to take her to Deva's lands and kill her. But due to fate she came in hands of Janaka, a Deva King. And he saw her as a gift from Earth.

Once Ravana came to know about this, from then he was all ears about the happenings to Sita.

In fact, he hated the custom of Swayamvara for he felt bad that his daughter is being seen by many courters like a commodity. Here we can understand his fervor to break this meaningless, subservient custom.

When Sita saw Prince of Ayodhya, Rama, he did see the love in her eyes.

Actually Ravana was present in the Swayamvara to witness the marriage of his daughter. In fact he was there to stop the marriage and take her back home to get her married to a wealthy prince for he felt Deva Lands were poor and impoverished with least respect for women.

But he backed off seeing the love for Rama that Sita had.

When Rama lost his claim for land, Ravana became furious for he can't imagine his daughter living in Jungle like a gatherers wife.

He in fact thought that, lets bring Sita to Lanka and make her stay in Palace and once Rama comes in search for her,  make him a prince for a dominion.

So the reason for he abducting Sita, was to take her as a Daughter to his home and it was out of Love and Affection he had for her.

So how would that make him a Bad person.

By the way , Rama wasn't too good by himself.

1. He killed Bali, the Vanara King against Kshatriya Dharma

2. He questioned the integrity of his own wife and made her self immolate just for the sake of some irrelevant questions raised.

In comparison to that

1. Ravana was just a dotting father who cant see his daughter suffer because of her husband's pointless Dharma.

2. When Ravana married Mandodari, he never ever touched her without her permission. So he had high ideals regarding treating women equally.

If this is the case, Is Ravana really a Villain , if not a Hero ?

  4. Ramayana needs to be read from Valmiki Ramayana only and not the later versions written by various authors. None of the points made are correct. May i request everyone to study well and then come to an understanding.

  7. Did ram ask sita to self-immolate coz he thought she might have had an affair with her own father?? ur version seems incestuous

BTW ravana was a Brahmin born in Bihar..so please dont make it out to be another episode of the aryan domination where the aryans kikced the ass of south indian dravidians again.
I dont know why karunanidhi and dravidian nationalists insist on promoting ideas and versions (incorrect) of history which makes out the South Indans to be Primitive(closer to africa and australoids)and hence inferior. If not for this dravidian movement, tamils could have truely gone on to be more enterprising, unbiased and become more successful all over India

  8. All through history the superiority is somehow linked to the skin colour. The sad part is this prevails even now.

    1. Very true and the best part is no one can claim racial purity or superiority for genetic studies have told otherwise. The caste system we know of seems to be prevailing even before the hordes of people from Eurasian grasslands entered the Indian subcontinent. It is increasingly getting clear that the immigrants applied their learning and beliefs on to the pre-existing template that is already existent and it is one of the reason why Indian has such diverse culture and practices. That is one reason why different jatis have different customs for they were all immigrants at varying points of timeline . The food and language also differs every 100-200 kms in India and it is said to be the prime reason .

  9. the problem with convent educated upper class North Indians and a section of South Indians especially Tamilians is that they are unable to reconcile to Indian history and escape by putting blame on epics. The point is that unlettered Indians are neither bothered about Ravana or Rama but whoever amelorates their sufferings is their God. Nobody compels to believe Ramayana and the problem starts when anti Ramayana people want to proselytie others saying that their your concept of Ramayana is wrong. There is no use in blaming the current generation. One should analyse why Cholas though Shaivites did produce amazingly exquisite Ramayana Icons and standardized the worship. Hindu epics have long back lost touch with masses. If anyone conducts quiz on epics I wonder how many people care about and enthusiastic about Ramayana. The Ayodhya problem was an incident of times and lost its sheen. Intellectuals should understand that in India worshipping God in a particular name necessarily does not mean that the worshipper is fully convinced by the myth. He feels that attributeless name is nearer to him with supernatural powers that he does not possess which amoeleorate his sufferings.

  11. What does Seeta think of Rama and did she have any sexual feelings for Rama and did have any sexual calisthenics with Ravana ?

    2 Proofs

1 - She was embarrased to sit on Rama's lap - as Ravana also made her sit on his lap
2 - She SNIGGERED on Rama's success in war

All this is as per the Ramayana

Book VI : Yuddha Kanda - Book Of War Chapter [Sarga] 122

Furthermore, when Rama boards the Pushpaka Vimana to go back to Ayodhya, he takes Seetha on his lap. Being taken on his lap, Seetha was very embarrassed:

NOTE – SITA’S NOSE WAS IN RAVANA’S LAP ! WHAT WAS HER NOSE DOING IN RAVANA;’S LAP ? THE NOSE IS NEAR THE MOUTH ! IT IS FELLATIO !

  14. Hindoos are squeamish about the rape of Seeta Maiya. The fact is that Seeya Maiya was raped by Ravana and she performed fellatio on Ravana !

Hindoo poetry has a poetic way of describing rape - as we will see later.dindooohindoo

Seeta herself states in the Yuddha Kanda that she was banged by Ravana

PHASE 1 - RAMA OPENLY TELLS SEETA MAIYA THAT SHE MUST HAVE BEEN FUCKED BY RAVANA

PHASE 2 - SEETA HERSELF ADMITS THAT SHE WAS DRY FUCKED BY RAVANA - BUT WHILE SHE WAS LAID - HER HEART HAD ONLY RAMA THE LIMPDICK ! THESE ARE THE WORDS OF SEETA MAIYA !

When her ochreish silk sari's upper fringe is upheaved by air onto to Ravana, Ravana looked blazing like a mountain set ablaze, muchly and overly. [3-52-15]

NOTE - SEETA'S "UPPER FRINGE SARI" (wHICH COVERS HER BREASTS) IS "UPHEAVED ON TO RAVANA".RAVANA LOVED SEETA'S BREASTS - AS WE READ IN THE ARANYA KANDAM BEFORE.

Reddish and scented lotus-petals adorning that highly auspicious Seetha have slithered, but again upheaved by air they are bestrewn on Ravana. [3-52-16]

NOTE - WHILE RAVANA IS BANGING SEETA - THE PETALS THAT SEETA WORE ARE NOW ON RAVANA ! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN ? HOW CAN THE AIR PLACE THE PETALS AND THE UPPER SAREE OF SEETA ON RAVANA ? IT AIN'T MAGIC ! IT IS SIMPLE SEX ON THE LAP !

Upper fringe of Seetha's silk sari with golden glitter is upheaved in the sky, and with the reddish hue of sun in red heat of midday it beamed forth like a reddish cloud. [3-52-17]

NOTE - THIS VERSE MEANS THAT RAVANA "REMOVED" SEETA MAIYA'S SAREE AND SHE WAS "STARK NAKED".A reddish cloud is acceptable either in morning or in evening but not in midday since it is a bad omen. A BAD OMEN FOR SEETA MAIYA

    सा पद्म पीता हेम आभा रावणम् जनक आत्मजा |
    विद्युत् घनम् इव आविश्य शुशुभे तप्त भूषणा || ३-५२-२४

Seetha, the daughter of Janaka, with a complexion that is goldenly yellowish in the tinge of a lotus, moreover with her ornaments of purified gold, flashed like a lightning possessed in a dark-cloud, when that stonehearted Ravana possessed her. [3-52-24]

NOTE - RAVANA "POSSESSED SEETA MAIYA"

    तरु प्रवाल रक्ता सा नील अंगम् राक्षस ईश्वरम् |
    प्राशोभयत वैदेही गजम् कक्ष्या इव कांचनी || ३-५२-३०

She that Vaidehi who is so delicate like reddish leaflets of trees made that blackish bodied lord of demons, Ravana, well and truly lambent, herself becoming a golden girdle girded around the elephant like Ravana.

NOTE - LAMBENT MEANS HAPPY AND SMILING AND SEETA IS LIKE A GIRDLE CLASPING THE ELEPHANT ORGAN OF RAVANA

IT IS DUE TO THE ABOVESAID RAPE OF SEETA MAIYA THAT THE GODS "SHUDDERED"

Book III : Aranya Kanda - The Forest Trek
    Chapter [Sarga] 52

    सुप्रवेपित गात्राः च बभूवुः वन देवताः || ३-५२-४१

On seeing Seetha who is undergoing anguish in that way the sylvan deities physically shuddered in a worst way. [3-52-41b, 42a]

    BUT IS IT RAPE ?

SEETA WAS A LONELY SEXUALLY FRUSTRATED WOMAN !

SHE GOT LOVE,SEX AND RESPECT ONLY FROM RAVANA !

RAMA WAS AN IMPOTENT,COWARD AND A GAY PANSY !

This is the state of the Godliness of Impotentica Rama and Lakshmana. These Hindoo Gods could not sense that their
